Centershot® Training

LEARN ABOUT OUR TRAINING

One of the most common questions people ask when starting a Centershot® Ministry is, “How do we get trained?

Training Aaron structures is extremely important to the long-term safety and success of your Centershot® ministry. Centershot® uses the same training protocol as National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP).

We have four training options for you to choose from. The NASP®/Centershot® Basic Archery Instructor (BAI) certification cost is $80 per student for each of the training options.

  1. Traditional In-person Training

A single-day class, lasting eight hours (usually on a Saturday from 8am-4pm). BAI Classes are offered throughout the country. Go to naspbai.org, Class Schedule (View BAI classes in your area) to register for a class in your area.

  1. Hybrid training with In-person Field Day

The hybrid option combines on-line learning and testing (4 hours) with an in-person field day (4 hours). Go to naspbai.org, Class Schedule (View BAI classes in your area) to register for a class in your area.

  1. Hybrid training with Virtual Field Day

The hybrid option combines online learning (4 hours) and testing with a virtual field day (4 hours). The virtual field day requires a strong WIFI signal and each BAI candidate present at your home range while the instructor will connect via a zoom session from a remote range. This option is used when the other training options are not feasible, as there is no replacement for in person training.

  1. On-site Training

For groups of 10 or more, we can arrange for on-site training. With an on-site training, the sponsoring organization is responsible for covering the trainers travel and lodging expenses and will require you to have your equipment ordered and on site for the training.

BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR VOLUNTEERS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MEMBER CHURCH OR ORGANIZATION. With processing your annual Centershot® membership, you have an understanding and agreement to all the terms of this Annual Membership and License Agreement. Centershot® membership is required prior to training. For information on becoming a Centershot® member, please go to Become a Member
